NC State quarterback Russell Wilson completes about 55% of his passes but is a freshman starting in his first bowl game. Rutgers play on both the offensive and defensive lines improved dramatically and will be the reason to back them in this spot. Stop crying. Yeah Wilson was knocked out of the game, but so were 5 other opponents’ starting quarterbacks that season. It’s part of the game, and signs of a damn fine defense.
and nc state only lost cause russel got injured at the end of the 2nd qtr.
Rutgers won 6 in a row after starting 1-5, thats how they ended 7-5. Nice job pal.
Wilson only threw 1 pick all year and that was in his second start. You didn’t mention that he was ACC ROY and 1st Team All-ACC QB.
