what the 3 on the end marks

  2. ojideagu on January 8th, 2010 2:05 am

21 is completely exaggerated beyond belief. You have a 1% edge card counting at best, the movie makes it seem like you constantly win. You can lose thousands before you make any profit.

poker is 60% Skill, which is a very big edge against mediocre players. Blackjack you have a 1% edge card counting.

with omega the final count of a deck is 4

card counting is crap lol… is all about luck…thats like saying your good at poker but even tha best hands loose to tha worst hands pre flop…JUST LUCK NOT SKILL…

@delacerdaa …Depending on the counting style. Different people like different styles. I like the ‘Hi-Opt II’ counting system because it is more complex, which means that it is more accurate. The Hi-Opt II counting system is one of the most accurate systems. I highly reccomend it.

  9. downsey1691 on January 8th, 2010 6:08 am

You can’t thats why its called gambling…

  10. downsey1691 on January 8th, 2010 6:46 am

Not going to win, but more likely to get 10’s or aces

  11. downsey1691 on January 8th, 2010 7:14 am

2-6 is +1 and 10-A is -1 so when counting the cards if your in the positives then there are more 10’s and aces in the deck, therefore increasing the likliehood of getting a blackjack.

everyone go watch the movie 21, it will give you an idea of this being used very effectively.

Here’s what I don’t get: blackjack is entirely dependent on Aces, and there will always be 4 per deck (meaning 28-32 at a table depending on if the casino uses 6, 7, or 8 decks). But, 1/3 of the deck is going to be 10s. Shouldn’t the player base his or her strategy on busting the dealer as much as possible?

How can you tell if your going to win or not

  15. mendelievium on January 8th, 2010 9:27 am

using this just gives you an idea of what card may come next, if the count is +1, you are more likely to get high cards than you are if the count is -1

  16. funnycrap123456789 on January 8th, 2010 9:50 am

i get how you are counting them like how you are getting the outcomes +1,0,and-1 and stuff but does that mean if the count is +1 does that mean you are going to win???

  17. delacerdaa on January 8th, 2010 9:52 am

    numbers 2-6 are +1, 7 8 9 are -0 and 10 – A are -1

  18. mrfardy91 on January 8th, 2010 10:25 am

it means don’t bet if the card value is low, because there are going to be lesser high cards in the deck. if the value is high then hit or bet accordingly because there are lots of high cards in the deck. Hope this helps.

ive learnt ow to count with +1 0 or -1 but then what does this mean??? how do i order thsi dvd??? xxx

  20. xatblasterx on January 8th, 2010 10:44 am

if its +1 oe higher does it favor you or the dealer i don’t completely understand the strategy

  21. ItsMikeRoss on January 8th, 2010 11:43 am

    2,3,4,5,6,7 are +1 ,
    8, 9 are neutural +0,
ace, 10 jack, queen, king are -1.
when the count is over 10 in a boot that you sat the the whole time turn to basic strategy and if favored bet high.

  22. cvang5 on January 8th, 2010 11:55 am

So when the deck is low like + 3… It favors the dealer?…

  23. xatblasterx on January 8th, 2010 12:45 pm

what does he mean by +1 neutral and -1 for the high and low cards

  24. icannotspeak on January 8th, 2010 1:32 pm

oh so this trick works only when the casino doesn’t shuffle the deck after each set?

  25. MASON7497 on January 8th, 2010 1:37 pm
